Not only did I forget to post my pix for the Monday night game, but I had a terrible week on my Sunday pix. 6 wins, 6 losses and 1 tie ain't gonna make me a million dollars anytime soon!

And just to show everyone that I'm an honest lady, my pick for the Monday night game was Atlanta to beat New Orleans, even though I didn't put it up in time and we all know what happened there, so that's another loser for this week, so this was my first losing week of the season so far. 6-7-1. MATKA BOSCA! I gotta start kicking some ass here! I'm supposed to be lucky for crying out loud! Picking like this I may as well let Steve do it, cuz he don't know what the hell he is doing half the time and he's about as unlucky as they come, except for the fact that he was lucky in love winding up with a HOT MAMMA like me!

I'm disgusted with alla this.

On top of all that, I was having trouble with my phone, the damn battery pack died out on the portable and I couldn't see the damn caller ID, and I gotta see that caller ID! I don't want to answer the phone and talk to nobody if I don't know who the hell it is. So we just had to get a new phone. One of Steve's nieces, Dorothy, who's a real sweetheart lady, gave us this phone she had laying around. My grandson came by and hooked it all up for me, so it was good to see him. Thank God we got people looking out for us, otherwise, I don't know what the hell'd we do! Steve is getting worse with the dementia everyday. It makes me so upset sometimes that I cry, cuz I'm so worried that he's gonna wander off and get hurt, and he is still always with the "Where's my car?! Whaddya mean I can't drive no more?!" shit. And boy, can he holler when he starts with that. MATKA BOSCA!

Well, anyways, let's hope LADY LUCK comes back to me next week and we can start one of my HOT MAMMA winning streaks!

Ooooohh myyyyy God! My pix fer Sunday's games were stinkers! 3-5 . I'm ashamed. Really.

Everything's been going to shit recently. Steve keeps harping me all night about getting a case of beer in the house, even though we have no way of getting any. If my daughter don't go to store to get it for him, he bitches at me. Then, if he has the beer, he drinks it all so fast cuz he don't remember how much he drank, just keeps drinking and drinking it all day, then he gets real mean and real stupid. That dementia is a bitch. I can barely stand being around him anymore, even though we been married over 60 years. I don't sleep. He don't shut up, ever. MATKA BOSCA!

And I miss my Brandy. She was a good dog. Never bothered nobody. I'd roll her ball for her and she'd go run and get it, wagging her tail. And she gave something fer Steve to do a few minutes during the day to keep him outta my hair. My nerves are all worked up now, so I gotta lay down, take some pills, relax a bit. The doctor says to take deep breaths when I start getting nervous. I don't wanna get my blood pressure going. I feel like I'm breathing deep every five minutes nowadays, I'm so nervous. I'ma close my eyes for a few minutes then I'll put down my pix for the next round of games.

Sad Times

We had to put our dog, Brandy, to sleep a couple of days ago. On Wednesday, February 1. She wasn't feeling too well, moaning all the time, so we brought her into the vet. They said she had this big tumor on her heart, and that she was having trouble breathing and she was filling up with liquid. Her belly got all bloated. They said she only had about two weeks to live, maybe, and that her heart would just give out. I cried so hard. My poor Brandy. The vet said that if it was her dog, she would put her to sleep, so she wouldn't suffer, rather than bring her back home and let her suffer and die there. And then I don't know how we woulda gotten her outta the house, then. We got no car anymore cuz Steve can't drive anymore, and I can barely walk. Matka Boska. It was so sad. I couldn't stop crying. I stayed with Brandy, my daughter Nancy did too. We crossed her with holy water, two times. Steve went outside. He didn't want to see her put to sleep. I had to be there. I didn't want her to be alone. It was real fast and peaceful. Here is the last picture we have of her, a few minutes before we put her to sleep at the vet's. I bent over to pet her under her chin, which she loved so much.
She was only nine years old, too. She was a good dog, my Brandy. I will miss her so much. She was the first dog we had since our Dukie died about 40 years ago. I don't think we'll ever have another animal. We're too old now. This is my favorite picture of her. She always looked so happy. She made us so happy. I'm gonna miss my Brandy.

Lemme just say, I felt bad picking against my Bears this past Sunday, especially cuz my grandson was going to the game, but I just didn't feel right about them winning. They sucked ass out there. Maybe next year they'll do better. I hope so, cuz my grandson was pissed when he called me after the game! He was swearing up a storm with the "f-in' this" and the "f-in' that"! MATKA BOSKA!

Oh! Here are some pictures of me after I was at the hair dresser last Friday! I hadn't been able to wash my hair or nothing for over a month cuz I was in the hospital, and it looked like shit, as you can see in some of the other pictures I got up here. But now...Here she comes! Miss America!

MATKA BOSKA! I didn't do too well on my pix for Wild Card Weekend. 2 winners, 2 losers. I wasn't able to post my pix for before the Sunday games, cuz my sun-of-a-bitchin' husband, Steve, kept me up all damn night checking the locks to the house every five minutes. He has Dementia, so he don't know his ass from a hole in the ground no more. We been married for 60 years. I love him to death but he's a real pain in the ass most of the times now. Oh well. Whatcha gonna do? God bless him! Here is a picture of him on his 86th birthday, blowing out his candles. He's born on Christmas, that's why he wears the Santa Hat on his birthday. He ain't that crazy yet. Yet...

The Giants were stinking up the place and I don't even think the Jags knew they were playing in a football game last Saturday. I can't even barely walk and I'da done better on the field than them. My other pix were pretty good though. But I felt bad for that Cincinnati quarterback, getting hurt like that. I don't like to see that. So, for the first week of pix, I finished 2-2. But now I'm gonna kick 'em in the ass this week! Here we go!

NFL: Wild Card Weekend

I've been wanting to get this thing started for some time, and I thought to myself, what better time than the NCAA National Championship game, but I ended up in the hospital for about a week cuz I was in so much pain in my knees that I couldn't walk. What a bitch, let me tell ya! So, I wasn't able to post my lucky pix for the big game, but trust me, trust me when I say this, I knew that the Texas team was gonna win. Like it says at the top of this page-I may not know nothing about sports, football, basketball, whatever, but I do know luck. I am lucky.

So, since I was in the hospital (I ate real good there. They fed me well. I gained about 4 pounds. They fixed my bladder problem too. I was peeing like a damn faucet) when they were doing that National Championship game, I decided to wait to start posting my lucky winners until the NFL Wild Card games. What better way to start than the NFL playoffs, I tell ya! So, without further ado, let me give you my picks for today's games.
